It’s that time of year again, when writers toot our little horns to let the speculative fiction community know what (if any) stories we have out there that are eligible for awards.
And now, for the first time ever, I actually have an eligible story!
This was the year of my first professional publication, “The Broken Karwaneer” in Beneath Ceaseless Skies. At 6,800 words, “The Broken Karwaneer” is eligible in the short story categories for the Nebula, the Hugo, and the World Fantasy Award.
Also, this will be my first, out of two, years of eligibility for the Campbell Award.
That’s all! Please read “The Broken Karwaneer” if you haven’t, and consider nominating if you feel so inclined.
